Airing on ABC in 1992 as a two part, four hour, documentary series, famous actors and actresses read testimonies from people close to Lincoln about him and his actions during the Civil War. The voice cast included: James Earl Jones as the narrator and Jason Robards as Lincoln, as well as Glenn Close, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Blythe Danner, Frank Langella, Richard Dreyfuss, Stockard Channing and Oprah Winfrey.
